Carpay Shop — how to reach us

Carpay Shop helps you find used cars from buy-here-pay-here dealers that fit the budget you tell us — a down payment you have on hand and a payment you can handle. This page is how to reach a person when something is wrong.

Questions about a car or a dealer

Call or text us at (747) 277-2474, or send a message from the Messages tab in the app. Carpay does not own, inspect, or sell the vehicles you see. Each car belongs to an independent dealer, and the dealer sets the price, the terms, and whether the car is still available.

If a listing looks wrong — the car is already sold, the details do not match, or the photos are not that car — tell us and we will look into it. Listing information comes from dealers and dealer software, and it can go out of date between updates.

What Carpay does not do

Carpay is not a lender and not a dealership. We do not approve financing, make credit decisions, set interest rates, or decide your payment amount. Only the dealer can tell you what you qualify for and on what terms. Browsing and inquiring on Carpay Shop does not involve a credit check and does not affect your credit.

After you send an inquiry

When you inquire about a car, we pass your name and contact information to that dealer so they can get back to you, and we let you message the Carpay team in the app. How quickly a dealer responds is up to the dealer. If nobody gets back to you, message us and we will help.

Notifications

If you turn on notifications, we use them to tell you when a car matching your saved search shows up and when there is a reply to your message. You can turn them off at any time in the app under Settings, or in your phone’s own notification settings.

Your data, and deleting it

You can delete everything the app has stored about you, at any time, from Settings → Delete account & data. See https://shop.carpay.com/data-deletion for what gets deleted and how to request deletion if you no longer have the app installed.
