What this controls

Carpay Shop uses Google Analytics and Google and Microsoft advertising measurement tags to understand how shoppers find the site and whether our advertising works. That involves sharing limited usage and conversion-event information with those providers, which some state privacy laws treat as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or you opt out with the toggle above, we do not load those measurement tags in this browser. Your choice is stored as a cookie in this browser on this device — it does not carry over to other browsers or devices, and clearing your cookies resets it. While your browser sends GPC, the tags stay off here regardless of the toggle.

Separately — and for everyone, opted out or not — we remove the budget details you type into a search (cash down, monthly budget, and ZIP code) from the page addresses reported to these providers.

What this doesn't change

Opting out doesn't change how the site works: you can still browse, search, and contact dealers. It doesn't affect the information you choose to send a dealer in an inquiry, and it isn't a request to delete information we already have.
